Little RedShe wears a red cape with a hood as she runs through the forest of buildings, fear elevating her heartrate. The cape trails behind her, like a train on a wedding gown, the wolf focuses purely on the red as it pursues her. Her high heal shoes clap against the pavement, the narrow heal causes her to stumble. As she falls toward the pavement, the arm of a stranger reaches out to catch her. She hears a growl then a high pitched yelp as the wolf runs away.
“Did it hurt you?” An unfamiliar deep voice whispers in her ear.
She slows her breathing as her mind refocuses on earlier events, the basket of food she was carrying pulls her arm down as the memory of the weight flashes through her thoughts. Her shortcut through the park was not the best idea, but it was the quickest way to her ill grandmother. She heard the howl of the wolf before she saw its glowing red eyes reflected in the beam of her flashlight.
As she started to run towards the city, branches reached out clawing at her
